The Agricultural Bank of Egypt Showcases Financing Opportunities for Agricultural Manufacturing and Food Industry Companies During Its Participation in Food Africa

بلدنا نيوز الاقتصادي

The Agricultural Bank of Egypt (ABE) recorded a strong and notable presence during its participation in the 10th edition of the Food Africa exhibition, held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center with the participation of more than 1,200 companies from 45 countries. The exhibition runs until Friday, December 12.

The bank’s pavilion witnessed a large turnout from exhibition visitors who were eager to learn about the latest financing solutions, funding programs, and banking services offered by the bank to agricultural manufacturing companies, food industries, and related production activities. These offerings aim to enhance their production and marketing capabilities, contributing to the expansion of Egyptian products’ presence in international markets and increasing export volumes.

The bank ensured that its pavilion served as a model of an integrated banking unit, housing several specialized departments in corporate lending—large, medium, and small enterprises. These teams showcased the bank’s financial products and services, interacted with visitors and participating companies, and responded to all inquiries. Additionally, the bank offered free Meeza cards to pavilion visitors to encourage the use of electronic payment methods, in alignment with the bank’s participation in the financial inclusion activities dedicated to people of determination.

During the event, Yehia Al-Anani, Chief Executive for Corporate Credit, emphasized that Food Africa represents an important opportunity to meet a wide range of companies and institutions operating in agricultural manufacturing, food industries, and other activities linked to the agricultural and livestock sectors. He added that the exhibition also provides a valuable opportunity to highlight the bank’s new image and the significant development it is currently undergoing, with the aim of offering a diversified suite of financing services and banking solutions tailored to meet the needs of corporate clients and attract new customers. These services include working capital financing, capital expenditure financing, export operation financing, and various types of credit facilities to support all corporate activities, thereby creating new opportunities to expand the bank’s customer base and reinforce its role in driving economic development.

For his part, Mr. Alber Nesan, Head of the Corporate Credit Group, affirmed that the exhibition serves as a bridge connecting all stakeholders involved in agricultural manufacturing and export. Therefore, the participation of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt among this distinguished group of exhibitors is essential, as the bank is one of the largest specialized institutions in financing the agricultural sector and its related industries and activities. He added that the bank aims to present its financing and banking services to attract new high-profile clients and major companies across industrial, commercial, agricultural, and other sectors. These services support business operations such as working capital financing, capital expenditure financing, commercial activity facilities, export financing, and all forms of guarantees, including letters of guarantee supporting various company activities.
