Samsung to kick off its 4th “Entaleq” with the launch of the new initiative

 

On the occasion of celebrating its 20th anniversary, Cairo ICT is announcing the inauguration of its first initiative titled “Innovation Arena”, dedicated to the development and support of start-ups in Egypt, giving the opportunity for young emerging innovators to fulfill their potential and turn their creative ideas into reality.

Cairo ICT is organizing the “Innovation Arena” start-ups initiative in collaboration with Samsung, in an effort to empower youth and allow them to achieve their visions. The initiative brings together young innovators with venture capitals, investors and financiers that could help them realize their dreams and establish their projects.

The “Innovation Arena” is held in cooperation with Samsung, which chose to become part of this event due to its keen interest in encouraging youth to pursue their passions in creating innovations that are beneficial to the whole community.

Samsung will take the opportunity to kick off its 4th “Entaleq”, its entrepreneurs’ initiative. This initiative has been conducted 3 times previously since 2013, aiming to encourage young developers to reach out for brilliant and innovative ideas and shape them into actual functioning apps or developed content.

The “Innovation Arena” will have a number of start-ups presenting IT solutions for different fields such as education, transportation, health, tourism and others. Through the Innovation Arena, young developers can register to participate in the 4thEntaleq competition by Samsung, through which they can win prizes reaching 250 thousand EGP.

Cairo ICT extended an invitation to different entities that support innovation – either governmental or private entities. This first of its kind attempt is to prove beneficial for all parties, especially venture capital companies wishing to embrace new brilliant ideas and turn them into real existing projects.

Cairo ICT – held from 27th to 30th November at the Cairo International Conference Center in the heart of Cairo – is one of the leading and vitally important exhibitions and forums in the MENA region encompassing the latest in the ICT field with more than 500 participating local, regional and international companies on an area of more than 25 thousand square meters
