The company has launched its phones in the province of Qalyubia during the past three months as a pilot area to test its efficiency in operations and its products among the Egyptian Consumers

He said that the investment climate in Egypt is attractive especially that the new investment law encourages investors to work in the Egyptian market and that they have a plan for manufacturing in Egypt during 2019. Similarity in many characteristics between the Indian and Egyptian people in addition to the investment laws in Egypt being more transparent and futuristic than some of the other countries makes Egypt a favorable destination for serving the entire continent and hence the company decided to make its headquarters for Africa in Egypt.

Today Lava has 250 employees at the company and will reach 1,000 employees in January 2018. Lava aims to acquire 20% market share in the Egyptian market in 2020 and sell 200,000 phones a month starting this period. After obtaining 8% of the volume share of the mobile phone market in Qalyubia Governorate within 3 months only backed by its high quality products and its efficient and accessible after sales service through a network of 3 Service centers in Qalubiya.
