Employment and Skill Development is the biggest social responsibility of any corporate in the country

 

The biggest contribution of any corporate to the society and country is to develop skills and employability of youth in the country and by doing that contributing in to socioeconomic development in the country- Said Vikram Singh Parmar, CEO Lava Technologies, Africa.

Parmar expressed the vision of employing more than 2000 youths by feb 2018 from different areas of Egypt including Cairo, Delta, Upper Egypt and Sinai region. Lava is approaching universities in these areas to identify fresh graduates who can be trained and given responsible positions in the company. While we are writing this intent one of such initiative is taking place at Arab Academy Aswan, where a team of lava is recruiting fresh graduates for the company.

Lava International Limited is a multinational mobile phone manufacturer headquartered in India. Since its inception in 2009, the Lava family has grown to over 25,000 people and became one of the fastest growing handset companies in India.

He also added that LAVA carries the responsibility of solving the problems of Egyptian youth like access to technical training and employment opportunities. We launched the "Skill Development and Employment" initiative as a part of the company's vision to empower people by training university graduates and technical diplomas for the industry. This initiative also aims at conducting intensive training programs to bring out young caliber that can lead the business in the Egyptian market.

Vikram explained that the initiative will start in the most remote regions and governorates. We started in the governorates of Delta, Upper Egypt and Cairo where we employed a large number of young Egyptians in LAVA’s operations in Qalioubia, Gharbia, Menoufia, Fayoum, Minya, Assiut, Alexandria and some areas in Cairo and Giza to inclusively enable young people of less than 30 years, especially fresh graduates.
